The Training Center of Airports of Montenegro JSC was founded in 2008. The Training Centre is subject to continuous control of Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro and of airlines which operate at airports Podgorica and Tivat.
The activities of the Training Center are: planning, organizing and conducting professional training; issuing Certificate of professional competence for persons performing important tasks for air traffic safety at the airport, and issuing Certificate of completed training in the field of civil aviation security.
The Training Center of Airports of Montenegro has been cooperating successfully with the centres in the region for many years.
According to the Rulebook on Vocational Training of Persons Performing Businesses Important for Air Traffic Safety at the Airport Article 14, Paragraph 5, the Training Center is obliged to publish the TC Work Plan for 2020 on its website .
The training programs implemented by the Training Center
Professional training regarding air traffic safety at the airport
- Handling passengers, hand and checked baggage;
- Handling of cargo and mail;
- Aircraft handling;
- Maintenance and inspection of operational areas, facilities, installations, devices and equipment at the airport;
- Rescuing and Firefighting protection at the airport;
- Aircraft supply with fuel and lubricants;
- Other ground-handling and self-handling services;
- Airside Safety Training (AST);
- Airside Driver Training (ADT);
- Dangerous Goods Training (DGR);
- Handling of passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility (PRM).
The Training Center also provides training in the field of civil aviation security.
All the activities of the Training Center have been approved by the Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro. All the staff of the Training Center (instructors, mentors and manager) have also been approved by the Civil Aviation Agency.
